The box was not made well at all. The ends didn't even meet together. They had big gaps in them. No lock or key at all with it. What they called velvet lined, was not even a decent quality material, and wasn't even velvet, or anything close to it. What ever the material is that they used, was so thin you could see through it, and it had so many threads missing in it, I can't even tell you. There was hardened glue dripping all over the inside fabric, ( if that's what you would call it), and also dirty black specks from where, I assume, that the worker burned, and I do mean burned the top of the box, and tried to cover it up. It also had a great big, and long, dig right into the top cover which they also tried to cover with filler, and then tried to blacken that. I threw $46 dollars away, and that's exactly how I feel. I would not have even bought that for $1 on a yard sale. If some paper work had been included in the box, which it wasn't I would have sent it right back. I tried to fix, and reline the inside of the box with decent material but no matter what I did to make it look better, that big dig in the cover always stood out to me. I have now put it in a cupboard where I don't have to look at it.Great Gift. By Mayo808

I just received the box today. It seems very well made and the flower carvings are really pretty. The only problem I faced is that the lock hole was a bit uneven so I had a pit of difficulty sliding the lock though. But other than that it was very nice.
