Customer Reviews:Ordering another! By TLC I have a floor model jewelry armoire in my bedroom that a friend of mine absolutely adores. She said she has all of her jewelry in her dresser drawer and she needed something to organize it. I needed to buy her a gift, but the jewelry armoires cost hundreds and that wasn't an option. I found this "little black dress" on amazon and ordered it. I was skeptical before ordering because it said the shipping would be a few weeks, but I actually got it two days later. I'm not sure if that is because of being a Prime member or not, but I was happy that I didn't have to wait. All of the pockets are about 6" wide and 3" deep, which is kind of small for the clunky jewelry that my friend wears, but it would be perfect for the kind I wear. However, the velcro tabs on the back should accomodate all of her clunky items and the pockets should do well for the rest. That's why I chose this one for her as opposed to the ones with pockets on both sides. The hanger has a swivel head so that should make it easier for her to switch from front to back. It's pretty heavy already, so once it's full and heavier, I'm afraid that the head of the hanger might break because it doesn't seem too sturdy. We shall see. I will order one for myself and a few as gifts for other friends. It makes it really easy to see the jewelry, whereas my armoire requires me to sift through to find things. I will update once she gets the gift and starts using it for a while to let you know if my fear of it breaking was just my worry or not.

are several things that would make it a better design and more functional:
1. The pockets do not seal. I have a lot of silver jewelry and even if I spend
the $ to get silver strips or cloth, the silver will still be exposed to the
air. If the pockets zipped across the top of each row like other organizers, it
would enable the sealing to prevent tarnish.
2. One of the claims is the swivel top hanger that supposedly enables you to
turn the item completely Around to access both sides. However, based on the
fact that the top of the "dress" is wide at the top, it actually prevents you
from swiveling the item to turn from front to back and vice versa (see video).
If the item was narrow at the top it would work.
3. The straps for necklaces and bracelets are not adjustable, meaning that if
you don't want an item to hang down into another item you have no way to adjust
the length of the strap attached to the Velcro, so that items don't clang
together.
4. If hung in a closet next to clothes, it needs a protective layer so that
sweaters etc do not get caught in items hanging, which happened the first time I
hung it up. Hanging on a door prevents you from getting to both sides. See the video.
Creative jewelry solution By Hannah M. This is a creative, cute solution for storing jewelry. The necklace storage loops in particular set this product apart from most competitors.
However, there are a couple considerations with this organizer:
1. Weight: Even without any jewelry in it, it is a bit heavy. That makes it somewhat difficult to "load" and fairly strenuous to retrieve items from it. If you are worried about the structural integrity of your hanging rods (or wherever you hang this product), this might not be the product for you.
2. Length: This organizer is significantly longer than most hanging jewelry organizers. It can be challenging to reach the lower pockets/loops.
Overall, this is a creative way to store your jewelry, but make sure its dimensions are appropriate for your needs.
